At Rooted Outdoor Learning and Education, we believe in the power of inquiry based learning. We offer an alternative to traditional education. Our outdoor nature school provides hands-on experiences for students to learn about the changing seasons, nature's life cycles, and the importance of environmental stewardship. We also have embedded within our program the core developmental domains. We believe cooperation, social/emotional skills, communication, problem solving, self regulation, and the basics of traditional education through natural learning practices that are linked to ODE content standards. We have an inclusive and accessible program and welcome all children with disabilities and diverse learners.
